This year's 2008 Christmas Home Tour was held on December 7, 2008 from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Ticket prices were $5/person. We also raffled off a beautiful quilt that was donated to us by Nila Hoffman. Nila received the quilt in a Project SAFE raffle about 15 years ago. The quilt was made by various community members. This year's winner was Pam Goertz.
We had many door prizes and silent auction items. We had refreshments and entertainment was provided by the WHS Entertainers.
There were also many beautiful quilts displayed by our community members. Two of our quilts were over 100 years old. There were two anniversary quilts featured, with one celebrating the Hoffmans' 50th wedding anniversary, and one celebrating the Evens' 25th wedding anniversary. There was also a quilt made entirely from Chinese Silk. As you can see, we have wonderful quilters in our community!
