•Project SAFE, Inc. is a non-profit organization devoted to providing assistance to all crime victims while promoting safe and non-violent communities throughout Platte County. We work closely with Wheatland and Guernsey Police Departments, the Platte County Sheriff's Department, Eastern Wyoming Ambulance Services, the Department of Family Services, as well as many other community-based programs.

•Project SAFE, Inc. upholds the philosophy of non-violent conflict resolution. Project SAFE does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, age, gender, disability or financial means.

•Project SAFE, Inc. also provides crisis intervention and advocacy 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Some of our other services include emergency shelter and transitional housing, assistance obtaining protection and/or stalking orders, court escort, visitation exchange and supervised visitation, financial assistance, groceries, assistance with victim impact statements, information and resources regarding legal aid, mental health referrals, and Ministry Co-Op referrals, and assistance with victim compensation.

•Project SAFE, Inc. currently operates out of two buildings: the main office, at 1207 9th Street, and the Life Skills Center at 1205 9th Street. The Life Skills Center is used for various projects and organizations. Project SAFE, Inc. also currently operates two emergency shelters.

•Project SAFE, Inc. is primarily funded through state and federal grants, however a certain amount is also donated each year through private monetary donations. Project SAFE also accepts donations of clothing, furniture, and household items for those who are in need. If you wish to donate, please contact us for further information.
